Is Monday still the popular wash day? I can remember when everyone in town washed clothes on Monday, ironed on Tuesday and so on. Those were the days when laundry was hung out to air dry and I think I have just dated myself. Oh well. No matter. Whatever day you wash on the problem is always the same.
