If you have never tried it, OdorZout Cat Litter Additive (used to be called Pet Powder) available online at www.88stink.com, all PetSmarts in the US, most Ace Hardware and Whole Foods in Arizona, will get rid of skunk odor on your pet ALL NATURALLY!  As a matter of fact, you just open the bottle and sprinkle it on your pet, leave for an hour, brush out and repeat.  It’s the ONLY ALL NATURAL ODOR ELIMINATOR GIVEN THE SEAL OF APPROVAL BY THE EPA, and also carries TV & radio personality, and author, Linda Cobb, the Queen of Cleans’, Seal of Approval.

It is not a pet shampoo, goes on dry.  Once odor is gone, you can use your favorite shampoo. Can be used on cats too…

If Fido also happened to come in your house, just use the OdorZout All Surface Granules, (Cat, Dog and Household All Surface Granules are interchangeable, different labels for different depts.) Sprinkle LIGHTLY, leave 24 hours and repeat.  It’s simple and all natural.  WILL NOT HARM PETS OR PEOPLE.  They can roll in it, lick it or eat it.

This product can be used all over the animal except near their eyes for obvious reasons.

Go to You Tube and type in Ninja the Dog Speed Drawing.  Turn on your sound and watch!!!

This is a the coolest thing ever.  Mrs. Crow, who is a reading specialist teacher at the local Grade School, had this made by her son, Aaron Crow, who is a film student and artist, as a thank you to Ninja (Certified Pet Therapy Dog, for doing Reading with Children at the school.  Ninja is on her third year helping children learn to read.

Mrs. Crow gave us a CD of this and a framed copy of the picture.  This You Tube is incredible. Aaron is really talented.  Be sure to turn up the sound!  Only takes 2 minutes to watch!  Check out “Ninja the Dog Speed Drawing” on You Tube!!

Whoopy and Barry visited the Maricopa County Hospital Children’s Floor.

Whoopy not only got to visit a bunch of kids between 3 & 18 today, but also got to be walked by 2 kids down the long corridors. One young boy had surgery yesterday and Whoop had him up and walking his first long walk. Another cute 3 year old was really standoff-ish when Whoopy came in the room, but by the end of the visit she was petting and hugging Whoopy.

Not only did she get to meet and greet kids, but was loved by parents, nurses, doctors and most of the staff and visitors.

A great day for Whoopy and Barry.

I suppose because it’s 102 degrees here today in Phoenix, that I’d like to bring up a point,  HEAT CAN BE DEADLY!!!!!!  Important tips to remember:  Don’t leave your pets outdoors unsupervised if you can help it. If you do leave them outside, make sure they have plenty of shade, water and a cool place to rest. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS IN A CAR IN THE SUMMER!!  The temperature in a car can soar to over 120 degrees in a matter of minutes. DO NOT WALK YOUR DOGS ON BLACKTOP IN PARKING LOTS to take your dog into a pet store.  THINK ABOUT IT, take your shoes off and see what it feels like…your dog HAS NO SHOES!!! And lastly, make sure your pet knows how to get out of your pool, if you have one.  Your pet may want to cool off, can they get out once they get into a pool?  DO NOT OVER EXERCISE your pet in the heat.  Your pets wear a fur coat, running and playing in the heat can make them overheat in no time. C’mon, just use common sense, folks and keep your pets safe!
