The reference is to mold and mildew. Most people to do not realize that mold and mildew are alive and grow by setting their spores airbourn and wherever they land they attach themselves to that article and begin to grow. Mildew is a fungus and thrives in warm humid areas such as the kitchen laundry room and bathroom. Basements are also vulnerable to the growth of fungus because they usually are warm and humid from the laundry room. The basement walls are also the ideal place for mildew to grow because of the dampness which is caused by condensation of warm and moist air which can be found on the cooler inside walls and floors. To eliminate the source for mildew to grow on the use of a dehumidifier in the basement is highly recommended. The use of fans in the kitchen and bathroom is also good for eliminating the growth of mildew. Mildew is not only a problem because it grows on objects in your home but it has a musty odor and needs mildew odor removal.

If there is an accumulation of mildew on a wall or floor the best natural way to clean it is to spray the area with white vinegar and do not water it down just use it straight out of the bottle. This cleaning solution will clean the mildew but will cause a vinegar odor to remain behind. The vinegar odor can be dealt with but now we are most interested in removing the mildew and in mildew odor removal. While cleaning the area be sure to cover you nose and mouth The spores will become active as they try to find another place to settle and you will breathe them in.

Mildew will adhere itself not only to the concrete walls and floors in the basement but will grow on furniture, walls and floors or any room in the house that has warmth and moisture. If you are in a warm climate and live near a body of water you know how quickly the mildew will grow and spread. It is important to keep these areas as dry and as clean as possible to deter the growth of mildew. Once all of the mildew has been removed the drying and cleaning should be done as an ongoing process to avoid its return.

Once you have removed all of the mildew you will have to contend with the musty odor it left behind. The process of mildew odor removal is not a difficult process but it too is ongoing. Fresh air circulating in the affected area is one way of removing the musty odor. Keeping the area dry with the use of an electric fan will also help to eliminate the musty odor left behind by mildew. When cleaning the area you want to use OdorZout all purpose granules for a perfect cleaning solution and the perfect mildew odor removal. Keeping the area dry, well ventilated and clean is the answer to removing mildew and its musty odor.

Is Monday still the popular wash day? I can remember when everyone in town washed clothes on Monday, ironed on Tuesday and so on. Those were the days when laundry was hung out to air dry and I think I have just dated myself. Oh well.  No matter. Whatever day you wash on  the problem is always the same. How do you get the smells out of the clothes? It’s easy enough to get them clean but what about smelling nice?

We humans really do have a problem when it comes to odors. Just think, we mask the odor problem with shaving lotions, perfumes, deodorants and you name it and still we stink. If you like a drink or two, smoke, eat foods that are heavy with garlic or onion and live or work in an environment that has a variety of chemical and/or natural odors your body absorbs those odors. Those odors are then released through the pores in our skin to the outside world in the form of oils, perspiration, urine and that chemical called pheromones with which we seduce the opposite sex. Whether we like to admit it or not we all have body odors and that is why we put our day’s clothing into the hamper in the evening. And that hamper is not exactly a bed of roses. A word of warning, before you say “eeeuuu that guy stinks” remember the only body odors you cannot smell are your own. So that guy that you just eeeuuu’d is probably saying the same about you.

When it comes to removing laundry odors from our smelly clothes we use all sorts of chemical laundry additives such as, bleach, sanitizers, spot removers, detergents, oxygenated cleansers and more. All of which do not lend themselves well to the environment. Why not go green and use a natural laundry additive powder such as OdorZout a laundry additive without the chemical additives.

Have you ever noticed that after you have washed your clothes and before you put them into the dryer they smell oh so clean. When they come out of the dryer they no longer have that same clean smell. Sure, they smell clean but there is that underlying smell of human body odor nonetheless. OdorZout eliminates the odors from deep in the fabric and the clothes are really, really fresh and clean. OdorZout does not mask the odors it eliminates the odors using a natural mineral called Zeolite. It works kind of like the parsley on your plate works on your breath after you’ve eaten it. Yes, that parsley on your plate contains chlorophyll a natural mineral to get rid of your bad breath. Zeolite is the parsley in OdorZout to get rid of the odors in your laundry. You will never get rid of your body odor but you don’t have to have it lingering on in your clothing.  Get OdorZout the natural laundry additive and use it. You will probably hear someone say ahhhhh that person smells soooo good.
